The talent that I see around my school is astonishing, North Carolina Central is a great school for higher Education but like most HBCU's it is suffering from low funds and inadequate equipment. The young adults at my school have more creativity then you will see from most artist today. Through the help of the Hip–Hop Initiative with instructors 9th Wonder and Christopher "Play" Martin leading the class, many artist are teaching young kids that Hip- Hop started long before Souljah Boi, TuPac and Biggie. In so we are getting to see more rappers who are not just rapping sell dope but are actually trying to get a degree. Let see if ' Reily has anything to say about that.
Anyway, One of those artists is Young Swift, Durham breed and Central educated this dude has the lyric capacity to rip into many of the new artist today. The key point is he is creative with his songs and flow. Even Switching to R&B with Jams’ like “Music On.” Then he gives you hard knocking monster like “Slow Motion”. I want to see more artist like this from North Carolina.

What a lot of these students don't know at NCCU is that with the help of 9th Wonder and Play, in their office is a studio open to the students where they can lay tracks and record for free. Students who are really serious about their passion in music should use their resources there are out there.....
